It's been awhile, defiantly to long. I have pictures that took almost a month ago and if i can find my camera they will be up this weekend. I've had some grade problems recently, but it shouldn't be an excuse I am just trying to explain. Witch is kind of silly seeing to how my only follower is my dad but whatever. I should be talking me and my camera down to Eaur valley this week end  (try and get the sunset), but I am so unreliable i don't even trust myself. i don't know i barely have any photos on right now hopefully the next album will have alot more.

Lets talk about something seriously important, anyone who knows me, knows that i love snow. True ground is very nice but hell I have been skiing since I was two. You can only Imagine what current events in Truckee weather have made me feel, if you can't well it sucks. Because of these feelings I decided to write about something other than pictures.

Truckee is being hit by a barrage of rain and pogonip (freezing fog), This sucks, the rain is melting the tiny amount of snow outside my house, and pogonip just makes you feel horrible. I would go and get photos of downtown Truckee wile the roads are wet but (well first of I am to busy) the pogonip ruins the view of the road. You know what be great if the temp would just drop below 32 and this rain/slush would turn our landscape into a winter wonder land. Sadly it gets worse some articles (like this one) say that snow is not going to be big this year. People take care of your fricken planet; it messes with my pictures.

Although we must never give up, I will upload pictures this week (haven't taken them yet but I will) also if there is anyone who reads regularly me please post a comment and give some ideas for future shots and how to get them in current weather (don't fell bad i'm NOT a professional). I hope you guys have a great foggy day.

As we can all see I did mange to make a post last weekend, and honestly I am very of proud this tiny achievement. I am going to do my best to make this weekend to, but to local current weather is going to Challenge that. It's raining, heavily to, and i believe that it will obstruct with the quality of the photos (also i hate rain I will probably will want to be inside). All I am saying is that if you don't see photo's please don't be alarmed. For the sake of the sport here is my favorite photo of all time taken by my uncle Carl ages ago.

These are just few pics that I took out at Martis Trail this week, and yes the two dogs are mine. Martis  Trail is a beautiful valley I go there almost every other week and you will probably see more of it in later post, anyway you should visit Martis trail and thank you... well whoever owns this place of the amazing scenery.

As my first post i would like write about what exactly I am going to be doing here, because it was hard to sum it up in my description. Lets start with the title "Truckeed" I know I am going to get a complaint or two  about this, but i like it and it's my blog so deal with it. So now that that's over with lets get to the meat of the topic what am i going to do. Well I commonly wander, in the woods or in town, I wander and i'll find cool , scenic or secret places around. I will take a picture (hoping to get into photography) and write about how to get there.
on occasion i will also write about local events in Truckee, I would of written about measure J, but seeing to how I made this blog today that won't be happening. Please also realize that i go to school and am on the Cross Country Ski, Track, and the Cross Country running team, I generally get home at sundown so probably a post a week on average unless its summer vacation. I also may not always be in Truckee so expect some post from elsewhere. anyways i will try to post again today, and please follow on blogger.
